Protected Landscape

In the exhibition, architectures of protection, religious worship, the body, and national memory are woven into a charged web of security and vulnerability, faith and control. The forms and structures are mere stage settings – material and symbolic – where the attempt to protect becomes a gesture of exposing weakness. Between concrete and latex, prayer and the sound of a tank engine, play and war – the exhibition asks whether a sense of security is still possible, or whether every protected landscape is already evidence of a wound.
